I don’t just take on cases, I take on causes. I know that there’s no shortage of injury lawyers, but there aren’t that many personal injury attorneys who are personal. For me, it’s never just about numbers, it’s about helping real people find hope, healing, and resolution. Every client deserves someone in their corner who truly understands what they’ve lost and is willing to go the distance to make it right. Justice isn’t something you ask for, it’s something you fight for and I am here to get in that fight for you.

From product liability to wrongful death and police misconduct, I represent individuals whose lives have been upended by the negligence or wrongdoing of others. Oftentimes, in cases of personal injury, insurance companies and corporations try to use their money and power to minimize or ignore the effects of their actions. It is my passion to stand up against these entities so they are held accountable and so victims and their families receive the justice they deserve.

A $5.75 Million Verdict—and a Lifetime of Purpose

Of all the cases I’ve handled, one stands out above the rest. Alongside my law partner and co-counsel, we tried a civil rights case against the City of Chicago. It was on behalf of a man who had been wrongfully convicted and imprisoned for four years due to manipulated evidence and false testimony by police officers. After just 45 minutes of deliberation, the jury returned a full plaintiff’s verdict and awarded the exact amount requested: $5.75 million.

It was a powerful moment of accountability and vindication, not just for the client, but for every person who has ever been wronged by a system that too often protects power over people. For me, it reaffirmed why I chose this path in the first place: to stand up for those who can’t stand alone, and to challenge those who abuse their authority. I take each case very personally because I truly believe that it is important to help those who have been hurt, neglected, or who have had their rights violated.

Rooted in Rural Values, Driven by Community

I was born and raised in the tiny desert town of Eureka, Nevada where supporting the community wasn’t a virtue, it was a necessity. The nearest supermarket was 77 miles away, and the closest movie theater was a 120-mile drive. In a graduating class of just 24 students, everyone wore multiple hats, and everyone pitched in. If something broke, there wasn’t anyone coming to repair it for you. You had to figure it out yourself, rely on the community, and be willing to help anyone else who might need assistance with anything. It required everyone to be willing to lend a hand when necessary.

That upbringing instilled in me a deep sense of responsibility to others and the belief that you should always lend a hand when you can. Today, those small-town values shape my approach to law, leadership, and life.

As a former multi-sport state champion in football, basketball, and track, I bring the same collaborative mentality and competitive spirit to every case I handle. Whether in court or in the community, I remain driven by the same purpose that guided me growing up: to work hard, support others, and stand up for what is right.
